Technique: Airbrushed halo, sheer edge

Airbrushed rather than painted, in about eight passes per nail so the gradient has no visible step in it. The halo is centered on the nail bed rather than the nail, which sounds like nothing and is the entire difference between this looking soft and looking like a bruise.
